MAU EBURU FENCE – PLACEMENT OF THE FIRST POST

Construction of the Mau Eburu comprehensive electrified wildlife fence commenced on the morning of Wednesday 20 March 2013 at Eburru location, with the placement of the first post at the fire watchtower on Ngobobo Hill. UPDATE: EXCITING DAY

LIVE TRACKING OF CAR 17

We are carrying in the car a small tracking device that will enable you to log into this page and see the position of our car.  When you land on the Delorme shared tracking page you willl find a red dot which is Rhino Rouge Car 17 and it has a + sign by it which you can click and zoom in closer to find the current track. Saturday practice run with the car.

We had a little look in the car engine on Thursday evening and went through all that Ian McRae, Gemmas father in law, has done for us on the car. And more importantly all the varius things we might have to do on the car. Ian has many great stories to tell about his various rhino charge challenges and the sticky situations he has managed to pull him self out of and get through. Car 17 in the workshop.

The car is going through final stages of a full check up. Ian McRae had been doing this at his workshop. We are most excited to have door handles this year so that we can open the doors without pulling on a piece of bent wire. It worked but this is nice.  We have also got to new batteries thanks to the generosity of Guy Jack and Chloride Exide. Rhino Ark Charitable Trust is pleased to announce that The Aberdare Trust Launch will take place on Friday 11 May 2012 at 10.00am at Bondeni, Mweiga. The Rt. Hon.
